8 Civilians Shot as 300 People Flee ISIS

On 7 June 2017, over 300 people fled from ISIS in the Zanjili area of West Mosul. We carried the sick and old, and helped others as we could – treating eight who had been shot as they ran and others who had been injured before. We could not save a baby and a man who were both fatally shot by ISIS. People were running and screaming as ISIS shot them but with the help of the Iraqi army most made it out alive. Photos of some of the wounded and dead are below.
