Thank you so much for your love and support for the ministries of the Free Burma Rangers, Christians Concerned for Burma and all of our other ministries in Burma, Thailand, Iraq, Kurdistan, Syria and Sudan. Thank you too for your prayers, love and encouragement for our teams and family. In 2016 we started our own foundation called Free The Oppressed (FTO), which is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt foundation. Through the Free The Oppressed foundation, we now have our own funding organization through which we an receive financial support for all of these projects.
The name of the foundation is inspired by the words of Jesus in Luke 4:18-19:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind,
To set the oppressed free,
To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
May God bless you,
David and Karen Eubank and all at Free the Oppressed
Free the Oppressed (FTO) supports the work of the Free Burma Rangers (FBR), which is a multi-ethnic humanitarian service movement working to bring help, hope and love to people in the conflict zones of Burma, Iraq, and Sudan. Working in conjunction with local ethnic pro-democracy groups, FBR trains, supplies, and later coordinates with what become highly mobile multipurpose relief teams. After training these teams provide critical emergency medical care, shelter, food, clothing and human rights documentation in their home regions.
More information about FTO is available on GuideStar.com, an independent data provider. Please see GuideStar’s FTO page here: https://www.guidestar.org/profile/47-4648581
To support the FBR, please consider making a contribution through the Free The Oppressed foundation. Please see the “Donate” page on this website under the main heading “Get Involved”. Or click here: Support the FBR.
PLEASE NOTE: FBR / Free The Oppressed (FTO) is not associated in any way with the Jimmy Hughes Ministries / Free the Oppressed organization. For that organization, please see https://www.freetheoppressed.org/.
