Villagers killed by Burma Army troops in Northern Karen State

Karen State, Burma

14 February, 2007

Photos of Villagers killed in November 2006 in attacks on Saw Wah Der Village, Toungoo District, northern Karen State. These are three of the seven people killed in this village alone.



Saw P’Rih Say and Saw Kyawh were killed on 4 November, 2006 at 12:10 p.m. by the Burma Army Infantry Battalion 35 columns 1 and 2. The three men killed were working in their rice fields at the time they were killed.

Saw Kyer Lar, 37 years old.

Saw Kyer Lar was killed 20 November 2006 at 3:00 p.m. by the Burma Army Division 66, TOC 662, LIB 6, columns 1 and 2.
