We walked stooped over and low in the cave, sometimes crawling through tight chambers as the cave twisted and turned. Suddenly on our left I saw movement and there in a small cave within the cave were four boys. They were in a hiding place within a hiding place. Such is the fear of Burma army attacks form the air and ground. This is area of Thaton/Billin in central Karen State where over 10,000 people have been chased from their homes by the Burma Army. Our teams are with them providing medical care and food. Thank you so much for praying for them as well as the over 1 million others displaced in Burma in what is the worst fighting since WWII.

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အကွေ့အကောက်များလှသည့်လှိုဏ်ဂူလိုဏ်ခေါင်းတွေထဲတွင် ခန္ဓာကိုယ် ကိုင်းညွန့်ကာလမ်းလျှောက်ခဲ့ရပြီး၊ တခါတရံတွင် တွားသွားရခြင်းမျိုးတွေ ရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။ ရုတ်တရက် ဘယ်ဘက်သို့ လှည့်ကြည့်လိုက်ချိန်တွင် လှုပ်ရှားမှုသေးသေးလေးတစ်ခုကို မထင်မရှား တွေ့လိုက်ရပြီး၊ ထိုလှိုဏ်ခေါင်းသေးထဲတွင်ကောင်လေး ၄ ယောက် ရှိနေခဲ့ပါသည်။ သူတို့တွေသည် လက်ရှိပုန်းခိုသည့် နေရာမှာပင် ထပ်ပြီး ပုန်းခိုနေကြရပါသည်။ ယခုလို ပုန်းခိုရခြင်းသည် မြန်မာစစ်တပ်၏ကုန်းကြောင်း၊ လေကြောင်း တိုက်ခိုက်မှုများကို ကြောက်ကြသည့် အတွက် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ကရင်ပြည်နယ်အလယ်ပိုင်းရှိ သထုံ-ဘီလင်းဒေသသည် ပြည်သူ တစ်သောင်းကျော်မိမိတို့နေအိမ်များမှ မြန်မာစစ်တပ်ကြောင့် ထွက်ပြေးတိမ်းရှောင်နေရသည့် နေရာဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ထိုပြည်သူ တစ်သောင်းကျော်အား ဆေးဝါးနဲ့ ရိက္ခာများထောက်ပံ့ရန်အတွက် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အဖွဲ့သားတွေ ရောက်ရှိနေကြပါသည်။ ဒုတိယကမ္ဘာစစ်နှောင်းပိုင်း အဆိုးဆုံးတွေ့ကြုံနေရသည့် တိုက်ပွဲများကြောင့် နေရပ်စွန့်ခွာနေရသည့် ပြည်သူလူထုပေါင်း တစ်သန်းကျော် အတွက် ဆုတောင်း မေတ္တာပို့သပေး သည့်အတွက်လည်း ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါသည်။
