8 Civilians Shot as 300 People Flee ISIS

On 7 June 2017, over 300 people fled from ISIS in the Zanjili area of West Mosul. We carried the sick and old, and helped others as we could – treating eight who had been shot as they ran and others who had been injured before. We could not save a baby and a man who were both fatally shot by ISIS. People were running and screaming as ISIS shot them but with the help of the Iraqi army most made it out alive.
